The Grain Blend
Solus begins with a singular foundation: 100% South Carolina-grown and malted barley. This pure grain bill allows the character of the barley to shine—bringing forward toasted cereal notes, gentle sweetness, and a depth that speaks to both terroir and careful malting.
The Experience
Bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ALC/VOL), Solus delivers a bold yet balanced profile with a long, contemplative finish. Enjoy it neat to appreciate its full expression, with a drop of water to open its layers, or in a thoughtfully crafted cocktail. Each pour invites reflection—unhurried, intentional, and rewarding.
The Craft
Distilled in small batches at our Bluffton, South Carolina distillery, Solus blends traditional distilling methods with a New World perspective. The spirit is aged just shy of four years in small-format used bourbon barrels, allowing for intimate interaction with the oak. The result is a deep amber whiskey with layered complexity—toasted grain, seasoned oak, and subtle warmth shaped by the Lowcountry climate.
