Burnt Church Smash

Palmer’s Stretch Rye Whiskey brings bold spice to this smoked cocktail, balanced by sweet vermouth, demerara syrup, fresh lemon, and muddled bourbon cherries. Finished with cherry wood smoke, it’s complex, warming, and deeply aromatic—crafted for slow, intentional sipping.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Palmer’s Stretch Rye Whiskey
  • .75 oz. sweet vermouth
  • .5 oz. demerara simple syrup
  • .25 oz. lemon juice
  • 3–4 bourbon cherries

Instructions

Muddle bourbon cherries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Smoke with cherry wood and garnish with a dehydrated lemon and a cherry.
